Island guides
Four islands, four kinds of summer
Three Cyclades islands in the Aegean and one in the green Ionian Sea. Here is how they differ, and which of our houses you will find on each.
At a glance
Where they are
Mykonos, Paros and Santorini sit close together in the Cyclades, linked by ferry. Corfu is on the far side of the mainland, closer to Italy than to Athens.

Aegean · Cyclades
Mykonos
Away from the beach clubs, the north-east of the island is all stone walls, chapels and bays that face the open sea.
June and September: a warm sea and calmer roads. The wind is strongest in July and August.
Our villas: Villa Thalassa.

Aegean · Cyclades
Paros
Fishing harbours, long sandy beaches and marble villages in the hills. It is the island our office calls home.
Late May to early October. September is our favourite month: the sea is warm and the island is quiet.
Our villas: House of Light, Olive Cove House.

Aegean · Cyclades
Santorini
A drowned volcano with villages along its edge, and the most famous sunset in Greece. We have two houses on the rim.
May, June, late September and October, when the light is softer and the lanes are quieter.
Our villas: Asteria Retreat, Caldera Quiet.

Ionian Sea
Corfu
On the other side of Greece: cypress hills, calm green-blue water and long lunches a few steps from the sea.
May to October. September is warm and the sea is at its best.
Our villas: Ionian Garden Villa.
